FREE AND INDEPENDENT PENTECOSTAL CHURCH OF GOD 7TH DAY
CHARITY NO: 1007870
We welcome all visitors to this site, in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We give all honour to the Lord who stirred our hearts into action during a visit to Jamaica. During our visit, he allowed us to witness the suffering of children as young as 5 years old begging for food, so that they could survive.
It was an alarming and sad moment to see such suffering, but our experience has in turn birthed in us great compassion towards poor children and their families worldwide, and towards those who are suffering want for basic needs.
The Mission Hall Refuge International was established and founded in 2010 by Pastor Raymond Salt and Company Pastor Daphne Salt. Our mission is to serve God's people through the love of God which has been instilled in us; that it might be seen that the Lord cares about those who are suffering and fighting to stay a alive, due to the lack of basic human needs. Besides Jamaica, we've also helped children in Malta, America, Hungary and England.
We hope this site will bring to light the plight of these poor and needy children and their families in our societies around the globe.
We've been appointed by God to care for his people through the power of his love. Our goal is to reach as much needy children and their families globally. We've travelled these different countries with the intentions to help the needy. We pray the Lord will bless this work by opening the doors of help, so that this ministry will prosper, and that many will benefit through the administering of the aid received.
Mission Hall Refuge International is a Christian charity organisation, who are committed and dedicated to the wellbeing of Gods people around the Globe. Our intentions are to work with the local churches in their local communities around the globe, thus ensuring maximum efficiency to help reach the vulnerable in their communities. Our Association is based on the principles of Christ where it states in the Holy Bible:
"I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted,
and the right of the poor". " PSALMS 140:12
"For he shall deliver the needy when he creith, the poor also,
and him that have no helper.” PSALMS 72:12
"For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love
thy neighbour as thyself." GALATIONS 5:14
"for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to me” MATTHEW 25:35-36
"The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.” PROVERBS 22:9
We are calling on those people who are willing to support this mission to help our cause. We hope the
Lord will touch the hearts of his people worldwide to support us. Our mission is to reach the vulnerable by any means possible; and on a regular basis in terms of allocating and sending provisions on a weekly/monthly basis. There has been a significant change for those we have helped but we require much help.
We appreciate all the help we've received, and will endeavour that all those in need will benefit much from this charity. Our aim is to reach the needy children, and also for them get help in terms of provisioning for their parents, who are struggling to provide adequate basic needs for their children.
Our hope is that through the generous help of donors we'll be able to help numerable of people worldwide. Our target is to get help to those that really need the help. This project has been an eye opener due to the extensive work involved but we are faithful to this cause and so we're hoping that this project will also draw volunteers who are willing to extend their help.
We are a Barnsley based registered charity helping children with food and educational needs, clothing and basic human needs such as adequate accommodation especially in Jamaica. The Lord has revealed the plight of the poor and destitute in our communities worldwide caused by economic/political decline, breakdown of the family unit and unemployment. People around the world are facing real life struggles to feed themselves and their families. The charity commission are very supportive with the building of economical liveable homes for the homeless. We've been involved in building projects to support children and their familiesand will continue to do so, with the help of our doners.
We give the Almighty God praise for the great care he has shown towards his people. It is evident worldwide that although people are facing great struggles, the love of God has made it sure, that his people are provided for through charities, donations, gifts, food distribution, and by many other means, hence ensuring maximum distribution of provisions worldwide for the needy . We give the Lord all glory and thanks for all he has done for those in need.
A significant number of poor Jamaicans live in squalor, with poor housing, limited food supply, and inadequate access to clean water, quality health care, or education. Kingston's poor congregate in the slum districts of Trench Town, Jones Town, and Denham Town, where water supplies are often polluted and violent youth gangs clash with police for control of the streets.

GODS MISSION-OUR MISSION
During our visit to Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica the Lord showed us the plight of the children and their families. It was so very evident that the majority of these families were suffering severe hardship. This particular family are typical of the many that are facing real life struggles.
We were faced with stark realities of a struggling neighbourhood, in which we encountered children who were desperately hungry and vulnerable; but we thank God, who allowed us to go to this region of Jamaica, for we are now able to send provisions when we can, to help these people, but we need your great support to be able to give periodically.
Our Vision and our Mission is to help those children in need and to support families. It is paramount that the needs of these children be met; so we are praying the Lord will touch the hearts of his people to support us, we are able to support many of these families through the help of doners. We are willing labourers for the Lord, so we want to see this mission through. Please Support Us.
“Then he said to his disciples, the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few” Matthew 9:37
SAINT ANN PARISH JAMAICA - Here we have another family who we support financially. By Gods help we periodically send funds to this family; sometimes they may not be adequate funds available, but we endeavour to give what we can. The family are desperately in need of assistance. We are calling for generous and willing hearts to donate to help this family.
MONTEGO BAY JAMAICA
The children above were gathered of the streets of Montego Bay with the help of a local Christian lady called Hyacinth. Hyacinth has been a source of great help in supporting this ministry. These children were hungry but were happy that we acknowledged them and showed them care. Hyacinth helped us to organise a trip to the local McDonalds, so that these children could be fed. The children were also taken into the local library to help them through that day; but we are looking for these children to be sponsored.
Our objective is to make sure that those that need basic support and emergency provision get that help. We're hoping to set up local stalls around two of the poorest areas of Jamaica for the reason of distributing aid to the poor. We hope to later extend the setting up of stalls to other countries, supported by the local churches.
SPRING GARDENS, JAMAICA - The need for a kitchen was paramount for the family of this home. The photos above show the beginnings of the building of a kitchen extension in Spring Gardens, Saint James District, Jamaica; with the help of the Lord we were able to fund this project fully. The kitchen extension is now fully functioning. Thanks to Frank McGee who we entrusted with the task of building this extension. The whole project was a success, and we thank the local builders who were willing to help in this project.
SPRING GARDENS, JAMAICA -The need to add an extension for an extra bedroom and bathroom in the same location of Spring Gardens was also another of our important projects; So here we have the foundations of the extension and the building of the extra room which will be used to make room for families. This project is now completed and fully functioning.
MANDEVILLE, JAMAICA - Here we have the beginnings of a small house, which we had built in Mandeville Jamaica. This house was built for a family, who were in desperate need. We were able to donate fully towards this building. We again thank the local builders who helped with this project. We appreciate those who were willing to come forward to support this project. It’s so amazing to see the great results that can be achieved when we come together to support a great cause. May the Lord Bless you all, for all your help.
